It is gradually becoming a tradition, that students of the Salesian school of Quebec (Canada) should at least ones a year visit some of the Salesian communities of Cameroon; in order to have an experience on the living standard and culture of Africans as a whole and that of Cameroonians in particular. From the 1st to the 6th of March 2025, the Salesian community of Ebolowa welcomed in its premises 30 Canadians; notably 26 students and 4 supervisors. These visitors throughout their stay in this community, visited the town of Ebolowa and discovered amazing features and customs. The Nkon Kas mountain found at Nkolandoum, together with the ENEO centre of Ebolowa and the Central Prison happens to be some of the principal sites visited by these Canadians who were accompanied by the pre-novices and some youths of the centre. The distribution of gifts to prisoners and to students of the Technical Institute of Don Bosco marked the joyful moments they experienced throughout their visit. From there, the exchange of souvenirs marked the end of their stay in Ebolowa. A sign of love and affection was witnessed as many shaded tears wishing their stay be prolonged.
